Kevin Pieterson has carried his bat for an unbeaten 62 today. I've been told that this is only the second time in international T20s that someone has carried his bat. England finished on 129/6.

Nice to see us end the tour a high. Good performance from Pietersen with the bat and all with the ball, despite not taking a wicket in this game Patel did a smashing job going for 18 (9 of which in his final over).

Smashing game to watch. Well done to Pieterson with the bat and England made it so hard for Pakistan with good bowling at the end. I thought that misfield towards the end might be ruinous, but England got home regardless.

Excellent win and refreshing to see an England team holding its nerve

All 3 of the T20 matches were tight and this one most of all. With 5 overs to go Pakistan were well in control. I thought it was crucial that Umar Gul had a difficult time in this match, as he was one of the main reasons that Pakistan won the second match. Hopefully the 2-1 success in these conditions will give the England squad a boost ahead of theforthcoming World T20 in Sri Lanka.
