As for FIFA I do think once Septic is arrested and charged, that is when I think the Swiss authorities will probably move to have FIFA shut down and broken up but I think it is more than likely (or possible) that we could see the individual Confederations left be responsible for each continent's football affairs rather than being under one universal world body like FIFA.

How can the Swiss shut down FIFA? For football to continue to be a major world sport then it needs a global independent authority in order to unite all the individual footballing authorities.

Given the sums involved in most of these investigations, it's safe to say that you would need something a lot bigger than an envelope to pass over the money. In some cases even a suitcase would not be big enough.

There's a EUFA meeting today to discuss the Platini problem.

The meeting at EUFA decided to continue backing Michel Platini in his bid to become Fifa president.

I think the more dirt that attaches itself to FIFA the longer it will take for FIFA to regain any sort of credibility to have any chance of being fit to run the world game. Now Germany denies it paid FIFA £5m for World Cup votes in April 2006

FIFA's reform committee had a meeting yesterday to discuss how they plan to overhaul FIFA'S structure.
But typically they aren't telling what they've come up with.
But maybe later

FIFA have just decided to stick with its presidential election date in February 26th next year.
