flintoff's greatest over ever 2005
That Ashes test series was the best test series I have ever seen. I saw all those games live on channel 4. The drama was there in every single day of the 5 tests. The whole nation got into it, no wonder they called it Ashes fever. Great choice, really, very good, for one of the best sporting moments ever witnessed.
What about Harmy's slow ball against Clarke - last ball of the day -Fantastic !
Of course!!!! How could I forget that. Bowled him right throught the gate!!!

LMAO that Trevor one is hilarious!!!! Still he got balls to turn up against the world's best sprinters even though he knew he would be embarassed for life

Yeah I saw a lot of him at the Olympics. He is probably the greatest Olympian there ever will be. Swimming is real physical sport, the fitness levels of these guys are so intense. If you look at Michael Phelps, he is perfectly built for swimming. He has a tall frame, massive arm span for the strokes, big feet so his feet act like flippers, and powerful legs

I'm not a golf fan, but this is an unbelievable shot from Tiger Woods. What a moment. Just look at the way the ball holds, and as the crowd wills it on to drop, it finally does.

and who can forget the lisbon lions? probably alot of you but never mind, allow me to remind you!
apparently cameras weren't invented in the 60's!
anyhow what makes the fact that they were the first british team to win the european cup pale in significance is the fact that the1967 lisbon lions (celtic for the heathens among you) were born within 30 miles of glasgow (most within minutes of the stadium!!) think about that. it'll never be done again in a million years, literally!.
Chuck Norris has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). the virus is now in quarantine for 14 days.

The key words to me in this thread title are "You Have Witnessed". And I was there on the Holte End at Villa Park in 1990 to see Palace get to Wembley by beating Liverpool 4-3, just months after losing 9-0 at Anfield in the League. It was the first year that the FA Cup semis were televised live, and hours after this, Manchester United and Oldham drew 3-3! Then the Final (which I also went to) was another 3-3. The less said about the replay the better
This second one was just seen on the telly. In terms of sheer brilliance on a world stage, you have to include Dennis Bergkamp's last-minute winner for Holland against Argentina at the 1998 World Cup. The control, turn and finish were all of the absolute highest quality. This clip has commentaries from different countries, including the Dutch commentator who predictably goes completely mental
One of the greatest displays of sportsmanship you'll ever see.
But then of course there was this The two comedy moments were the refs "dive"...i reckon he should have been booked and Nigel Winterburn being so "brave"
Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.
Ronnie O'Sullivan's incredible 147 against Mick Price at The Crucible, which he compiled in a record 5 minutes, 20 seconds! Three times World Snooker champion, ten maximums in competition and over 60 titles to his name, but such is the man's genius that I still consider him a waste of talent unfulfilled
Do check out Jimmy White's Crazy Spin Shots on the same upload; at the time I'd never seen anything quite like it, and it even featured on the beginning of Grandstand for a good while afterwards - amazing cue power
