Bloody hell!! Where did you hear that AC? I was watching BBC News earlier which said the Govt wouldn't divulge the figure until after the funeral. I can't really understand why she merits such a lavish send-off, considering other PM's (Churchill being the notable exception) don't get the same treatment.

Oh well, if William says we can afford it, that's OK then I particularly liked this comment re attending funeral:

Bahama's. USA, etc, anywhere that dont cost them anything, on our behalf of course. Its a great chance for all MP's, Lords etc to get the old expense account used, bless em!

I'm sure Maggie will be smiling from Hell at her 'children' Cameron, Hague, Osborne & co. frittering away an obscene amount on this awful ceremony & even further managing to line their own pockets. ALL at the expense of the common men, women, and children of this Island.
