When you think how powerful the NRA are getting any new controls in place has no chance

The NRA runs congress so nothing will change ...period

It certainly rules the Republicans and without 60 votes in the Senate nothing will ever happen. I'm hoping it turns out the shooter in this case was a member of the NRA. As usual they have gone to ground and will wait for a while before making any public statements.

And if it does turn out he was an NRA ember?

If he's a member then they can't defend gun laws with some ''if everyone was armed'' nonsense, they've claimed that more than once.
Their thinking is that if everyone was armed, there would be less gun violence, which is utter nonsense, it's not the fucking wild west anymore

Plus they backed trump in the presidential election too with around $30 million I believe. So nothing will change

The NRA have finally crawled out from under their rock...and called for a review of the laws around Bump Stocks!


How about we just gather 22000 NRA Members into a small area overlooked by a tall building and let rip with a few hundred rounds on them. They'll change their minds PDQ after that.
