Mmm so to pick up a few points.

Labour support the Universal Credit system I believe. It is how it had been implemented that is the problem.

Talking about “elites” a phrase I hate as it is lazy used to tar people who you disagree with. For gods sake Farage uses it and he’s as elite as they come.

Turning to Mr Corbyn he was privately educated and has been in Parliament as an MP for 36 years. Before that he was a trade union offical and a local councillor. He’s as deep in the elite swamp as you can get. He lives in a million pound house that we as taxpayers have paid for & is married to an ex banker. One of his sons is McDonnells Chief of Staff so there’s his family in the same swamp as well.

His policies if in government include re nationalizing industries on the cheap with a pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow. Not paying full price means that shareholders will suffer. Why is that a concern for you? Well where do you think your pension fund is invested. Oh and all those foreign investors we rely on will fuck off so the pound will crash and shares will tank.

I agree with u over the UC point, it is how it is implemented that has been the problem, but I don't think it would be working any better under Labour either. I'm all for the utilities being re - nationalised, especially gas electric rail,

You try and fit 10 yrs worth of negotiations into 2 yrs in an attempt to un-tangle 40 yrs worth of co-operation on nearly every aspect of life on the basis of a binary yes or no question and the results will be inevitable.

The last near 3 years have been a perfect example of Brexit

More focusing on the complete and utter arrogant thought in their minds that the result of the referendum, something which every politician asked said the result would be honoured and it’s a one in generation vote, was a forgone conclusion. Slam dunk Remain win. I’d had loved to be in the room when they discussed it, I bet not one asked what would happen if remain lost. Not one.

If they’d actually have thought Leave might win they might have done some kind of ground work before as to what would happen, i.e leave with a deal or no deal. But no. Just shows how out of touch that they are. That’s the monumental fuck up part. The rest isn’t. That’s just the idiotic leaders scrambling around like headless chickens because they kind have to do something which in their arrogant minds is so abhorrent that they can’t comprehend why anyone would want to leave the EU.

So.............

Our health system is not fit for purpose (hospitals and GP surgeries especially)
Our education system is not fit for purpose.
Our social care system is not fit for purpose.
Or our jails which are overcrowded and drug ridden.
Or our pension system.
Or public transport system.
Or our benefits system.
Or our home office.
Our manufacturing base has crumbled.
Our national debt is ridiculous.

And what have we been faced with?
Parliamentary paralysis caused by Brexit which has been primarily caused by decades of disunity in the Conservative Party that made the premiership of John Major virtually impossible before seeing off David Cameron and now Theresa May.

And what are we faced with now?
A gluttonously repulsive, episode of greasy pole climbing to become Prime Minister.
In a completely useless government.
And an opposition that are as delusional as they are clueless with a front bench team with about as much credibility as a snooker table with no pockets.

With all the problems previously eluded to getting worse with every passing minute.

Is it any wonder I have lost faith in pretty much everything and everybody?

|^We all probably feel the same way as you mate!! Brexit has totally paralysed the country and the after effects of that paralysis will be felt for many years after whether we leave or not. The one thing Dodgy Dave should have done was at least put a framework in place that any negotiations and deal could have been based on for either scenario that could have been agreed in principle with the EU then at least both sides knew what each other would be getting, - but he didn't. I do worry that whoever does win the leadership they will still attempt to push May's deal through parliament without making changes.
