Surprised these havent been mentioned yet but my faves included

Top Cat (which was based on Sgt Bilko)
Rhubarb and Custard which was a classic and had one of the best theme tunes ever
Batfink with his wings of steel

Another two i remember arent cartoons but were faves as a kid

Chorlton and the Wheelies and Terrahawks, used to have a bet with my brother every week to see if cubes would win at noughts and crosses on the end credits.

Sorry for throwing the last two in but was feeling all nostalgic, lol.

A good theme tune, I agree. But I would draw your attention here, for IMHO, the best cartoon theme tune ever.

Lyrics you can sing along to and you can almost play air guitar to it.

Fair point well made tmfkamr. Must admit that as I was reading through the thread I started humming the tune before even playing the clip, lol. Although that could be due to a lack of sugar this week

Also, wouldnt like to disagree with a fellow north easterner.

One of my favorites

Shit, just remembered the best Cartoon ever, Biker Mice from Mars, that is hands down the best cartoon ever, nobody can even disagree with me and sound sane, it's fucking giant anthropomorphic Mice who had kickarse motorbikes and they came from motherfucking Mars, plus one had a bionic arm and one of them (Vinnie IIRC) had a half metal face, try and tell me it isn't the best cartoon ever, I dares ya.

I loved the batman animated and justice league and unlimted cartoons .
