That’s a hell of a place to take your first Tour Stage win.

I think that Pidcock surprised himself with this stage win. He's a massive talent, has amazing bike handling skills, on any bike. Put him on a unicycle or a penny-farthing, & he'd be a champion.

2nd place for another Brit in today's stage. 23 year old Fred Wright (now lives in Manchester) rides for Barhain Victorious.

The winner stage 13 Le Bourg D'Oisans to St Etienne was won by Dane Mads Pedersen.

Today's Stage 16 to Peyragudes, a ski resort high in the Pyrenees, was won by Tadej Pogacar. It had no impact on the GC as yellow jersey of Jonas Vingegaard finished just behind him.

In yesterday's stage 18 from Lourdes to Hautacam Podgcar failed to break Vingegaard. It was Podgcar who broke as Vingegaard sprinted away from him towards the finish.
