yes its called underworld:Rise Of The Lycans and its another british actress Rhona Mitra who plays kate beckinsale's character. havent seen it myself

It's pretty good, it gives you the back story of the Vampire/Lycan fued. Rhona Mitra isn't playing Kate's part, she's the vampire that Lucian was/is in love with, her character is called Sonja.
