Problems receiving or recording the shows

A quick question regarding recording shows does BS2 record ok on timer settings.

It has for me on my dvd recorder although I havent recorded it very recently but the full programme details appear in my epg on my television.

It does ok on one of my freeview PVRs. The other one has had problems using the EPG in the past. I have to edit it and set the start time for 2 minutes after the schedule start time for all these babe programs. I dont know if I still need to do this but its not worth taking the risk. Nothing is missed, the shows always seem late starting.

There was no problem with the sound for Granada TV region.
I thought the first 5 minutes with Yvette was from one of the other channels by mistake, because it suddenly switched to Camilla and Paige in split screen mode with no announcment.

i didnt have sound problems but i too am from granada region also

No sound probs for me either (Anglia) and I can confirm that the first few minutes (on Freeview) was Yvette on Party Girls. I thought my tv was playing silly buggers when I switched channels and got exactly the same show.

Were there even bigger technical problems last night? I couldn’t get BS2 at all, from any Freeview source (box, IDTV etc.). I got it fine the night before, which was an excellent show BTW (Camilla put on a great show, and showstopper Megan was fantastic (not sure about the blonde hair, though); even if the typical Freeview censorship spoiled some on the fun, it was MUCH better than normal).

I assume that “Big Deal” is also a Cellcast channel, given the advertising for it on Tamestation? It was also missing last night (I checked just in case BS2 had moved to ch32).

As for the channels I could get last night, they got off to a great start, both TS & PL were noticeably better than normal, as though the 'powers that be' had finally decided to give full $ky strength (or at least, quite a bit nearer than normal) on Freeview – Jemma Jey was much better than normal, nearer to what we know she is capable of, but, sadly, has not been allowed to do during her appearances on the current Freeview channels; Also, a great night for the debut of Caty Cole on TS; Hopefully, we will get her (and Jemma!) on BS2, assuming I/we can actually get this channel again!

I was on PG most of the time but when I occasionally channel-hopped I had no difficulty getting the other three.
