Bang Babes on freeview

The thing is, these points might seem small, but they have a huge impact on the situation.

When you say 'Sky' you're not being clear and i'm unsure if you know what you mean.

You see, anything that is 'Sky' and 'Sky' only, is encrypted by Sky and sold to Sky customers only. No-one else can get those channels. No-one. That's important.

Content that is broadcast on the Astra2 field of satellites, which Sky uses and your dish is pointed at, does not necessarily have anything to do with Sky. It can be unencrypted and can be seen by anyone across Europe. Even if the software in your sky box puts the content of these channels into classifications and renames them, it doesn't matter, they are still open to everyone and not exclusively 'Sky'. That's important.

The babe channels are currently unencrypted, which means they can be seen across Europe by people without a Sky subscription. While this might not effect the finances of the situation, it does have legal implications. Any attempt to cater to Sky customers will directly effect European freeview 'customers'.

I think the point you're trying to make is that if the Babe channels broadcast exclusively on the Sky platform and disregarded terrestrial freeview, they could broadcast a better (harder) quality product.
My point is that by broadcasting on the Sky platform, they automatically broadcast to freeview across Europe and therefore any potential 'freedom' they gain is negated.

Incidently, Freeview terrestrial broadcasts don't travel across to Europe (generally, I bet some do). I can see, if the system breaks down in the right way, a time in the future where you could see R18 on UK terrestrial freeview, but NOT on satellite freeview.
If we win the fight in the UK, but then some Euro kicks off and we have to fight it out again in the European courts, that WILL be the case.

True But on satellite even if you win the Fight in the UK you could avoid Euro Kick offs by moving all the babe channels on to a narrow beam centered on the Uk then the rest of europe wouldn't get the channels even if they were free to air still on satellite.

This thread is supposed to be about the Bangbabes show on freeview.

To be fair I probably didn't explain it well enough to begin with, but time is a factor at the moment...

Here's the thing... Those who run these channels realise that "Sky subscribers" are far more likely to "pay for their services" than someone tuning in via the methods you've mentioned.

Most "paying customers" on Bang Babes will be Sky viewers. If Bang Media want to get all their channels on Freeview in the future like Cellcast have, then this is not good for Sky viewers due to the added OFCOM restrictions for Freeview. This is why I mentioned Jet Black earlier, as she is one of the Bang Babe regulars who goes further than most. It depends what most customers want, but as most men are more visual the restrictions generally won't go down well unless they're gimps who like to be dominated.

If you search around the forum for 'Participation TV' or 'Teleshopping' you should find previous discussion about this.

This is just to confirm that a second Bang Babes channel will soon be broadcast on freeview and the broadcast hours are likely to be midnight to 05:30.

is there a new website for channels 948 and 959

Are BB going to compromise even more of their '$ky' output, or are they going to produce a Freeview only show for the new channel? Or, are they going to loosen up a bit, and provide a real babe channel on Freeview, as per their output on '$ky'? Seems unlikely, given the rumblings from Ofcon, in their so-called ‘consultation'.
