Celtic and rangers have a fan base in every country in the world and both have won more things than chelsea and arsenal in europe. Celtic get the second highest regular attendance in britain, man u get the highest. So hows tht not good 4 the english leagues

Chelsea, Man u, Arsenal and Liverpool have a bigger fan base worldwide than the old firm, when was the last time celtic and rangers did a tour in another country? Celtic have won 1 european title that was in the 50's. The attendances are some of the highest but that would soon change if they were losing more often. The old firm arent too good for the spl celtic can only scrape past hamilton and rangers cant beat hibs at home how will they cope with Chelsea, Man u, Arsenal and Liverpool

I think you've missed the point completely. If Celtic and Rangers were in the Premier League they wouldn't have the same players they have now, playing against Hamilton and Hibs. With English TV money they could buy whole new teams.

RE: Celtic and Rangers in premier league?
Celtic and Rangers fanbase isn't anywhere near as big as Man Utd's. And it's not bigger then Real Madrid,Barcelona or Juventus.

If Celtic and Ranger's joined the EPL, they'd struggle for a few years, Ranger's current team might even get relegated. However after a few seasons, I think they'd be a threat to get 4th or 3rd place. I don't get this hype about Celtic from some of their fans mind you, many consider their club to be up their with the likes of Liverpool and Barca. Celtic haven't done enough in Europe and some of their fans on radio phones are a bit delusional. I remember one saying, if Celtic joined the EPL they'd take Rooney from UTD, because Celtic are much bigger.

I think If they want to join they should start from the bottom. Why should two extra English clubs make way? Also another problem, if they did join it might mean we'd have to have an all British national team, which would be a disaster IMO.

And Spurs were the first British team to ever win a European cup but guess what? Nobody gives a shit, stop living in the fucking past. I am also sure that Man U give a fuck that Celtic have got one established fanbase in Burkina Faso that has got one solitary very sad fan when the amount of fans they have in comparison to you is 37:1. Ya.

You're not for this world, this world is for you.

Well Cardiff might be in the Permier League next season and nobody has suggested abolishing the Wales team if they do get promoted.

Fair enough you could buy a new team but it still wouldnt be good enough to challenge the top 4

Yes, but if you have Scottish clubs in their also then you've got a British league not an English league. And Celtic and Rangers are much more high profile.

I think it's a risk not worth taking, and it's not up to us to bail out Scottish football. It could make a farce of club football, because who's to say that the bigger Portuguese clubs won't try to play in the Spanish league, or the Dutch clubs in the German? If it's the rules for us, why not the same for them?

More precisely would it speed up the formation of a European Super League with the likes of Man U and Chelsea joining up with the top Spanish German and Italian sides and creaming off the Tv money. And I can't see any Scottish teams fitting in there.
