I'm a really heavy shooter so I must admit, it's hit my chin in the past but usually if it's a powerful one I let it go over my shoulder rather than hit my face. I've never been tempted to let it hit my face, don't see the appeal to be honest. Imagine having to explain to your mates why you've got really bad red eye!
