That argument doesn't make a lot of sense, Paul17.

It's not just the holiday season - the site's been declining for a while now (speaking as someone who'd like to see it do well).

As for "just enjoy the models who do shows and do appear on GSL/FV"...

Does that argument apply to GSL, these channels, etc.? Basically, just take what we're given?

That's pretty daft.

The way I look at it, if everyone is negative about GSL/FV less models will be willing to come on-line. If we are positive then some more models could see it as a fun place to be and might be more willing to come on-line.

What annoys me (and I'm not the only one judging from the comments) is not that you want to promote GSL - they're a business and perfectly entitled to promote themselves and their service - it's that you choose to do it in this silly "I'm just a regular member..." way.

It just comes across as smarmy and fake (which it is).

you prove the point so well, eg VIP membership is indeed FREE to all members. This is stated on the site!

I'll not bother commenting further on this matter, your obvious lack of knowledge of the facts is a sufficient closing point for me.
I have no issues with you personally, but if you wish to slate me, at least have some solid facts first.
Now enough of this silly bickering, I'll get back to spreading the good word about GSL, etc.

I have no issue with you promoting GSL (btw, I'm a VIP member too), it's the way you do it that irks me.

To be honest, there are only a few girls that seem to stick it out and appear online regularly.

What would be really telling would be if there were a couple of additional fields on each girl's profile - last online & time spent online in the last month, I think it'd make quite interesting reading!

I think the models are a little more concerned with what they earn than whether it's a "fun place to be" - they're working from home via cam after all.

I've heard they can earn more on sites like MFC than on GSL as they keep more of what they make.

Personally, I'd be willing to pay more for the shows if that meant the model (not the management) got to keep more. Might encourage more of the top models to do shows.

this was mentined ages ago either here or somewhere else, cant remember, but at the time, GSL paid more to the model that most other places, on GSL, the girl gets 50% of everything.
I've heard thats more than most site, but I dont know for sure

That would be interesting, just to see when a model just logged on. Maybe the model could leave a message as well, if they know they will not be on for some time, like Chelsea French, who damaged a couple of fingers when she fell of a horse. She still did my private 1-2-1 show, but I could tell she was in pain.

I like the idea of having each girls profile show when she was last online, how many hours in the previous 60 days amd when she might be on next.
I say 60 days because if a girl is away on a shoot for a few weeks, then without an explantion, her stats would look bad unfairly.
but in the same respect, it might just show which are the girls that are online regular and deserve support!
its not always black and white, sometimes a girl is away for good reason, sometimes a girl may be doing eg 2am - 6am hours to cater for different timezones, so may appear to be never online if we only look during our eg 7pm-10pm.
interesting idea though, I like it.

I know this is just an idea, but would it count 1-2-1 private shows time as well?

good point, it should, as the girls will still be online , and some do bookings only, so to be fair, it should count all online time, last time online (whether a booking, a show just online) and an option for the girl to say when she'll hope to be online next!

I just hope Carla's website designer can manage to do it?
