I commented above that S66 don't seem too troubled by this story, as the pervcam is often visible (as anyone can see for themselves).

winsaw then commented that "they are looking at the day shows at the moment", but this makes no sense as the pervcam is just as visible on days as it is on nights. Take Gemma Hiles today for example. The pervcam was clearly on display and seemingly for hours.

I know! I tried to cut that^ down. Twice! Then I thought 'oh sod it!' I just wanted to be thorough and genuinely hoped someone might examine my reasoning if I laid it out. I thought it was something that needed explanation.

I didn't mean to give the impression I was having a go you in any way at all (if that's what I did). Blush That couldn't have been further from the truth. I agree with the drift of what you said; I just wanted to use your post as a starting point to look the whole argument about what is Ofcom versus what is the operators doing as regards the 'taming' of the shows and what is the best we might expect in the future.

I guess self-interest and censoring quangos are a potent combination for me. TongueWink

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.

Thanks, I just don't like the double standards involved.

I saw a man attacking a woman on Emmerdale just before 7:30pm tonight, yet the babeshow girls are barely allowed to touch each other at 2am. i wonder how many people will complain to ofcom about that scene in Emmerdale?

RE: Ofcom Discussion
What about the new series Versailles on BBC 2. The show apparently will show graphic sex scenes, albeit after 9 pm, but before midnight. I believe the BBC are insisting it is based on historical fact and therefore permissible in their view as an artistic piece of work. Of course there won't be any advertising involved, so in Ofcunts view it will be ok for it to be aired, even though little Johnny could be watching it in his bedroom (wanking) or that fragile old lady will come by it accidentally.
