The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald for me. Utterly stupendous. Closely followed by In Cold Blood by Truman Capote and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. And anything by Stephen King, as previously mentioned here, The Green Mile being my own personal favourite. The characterisation is second to none.Smile

Without Dannii Harwood, Winter would have no Spring.

RE: Whats Your Favourite Book
dont really have a favourite book, ive only read a few. the first book i read (forced) was "of mice and men" which i had to read because i had to write an essay on it for class, we each had to read out a chapter which i hated because i didnt like public speaking but i was 14 at the time and when each person read out each chapter they got a reading age, mine was 17 years and 6 months Big Grin, i still remember that because i always questioned how they worked that out and they always said " its not important. " ive also read "the lost world" by conan doyle, a couple of books by p.j tracy called "want to play" and "snow blind" i choose them because the covers looked good bladewave i read a book by selwynn raab called "five families" because a mate got me into the sopranos so i thought id find out more about the cosa nostra. ive read giggs biography, i bought a book for a train journey back home randomly, called "61 hours" by lee childs which wasnt great and finally a book im reading by karl pilkington called " karlology" which is okay, he is fucking hilarious though ( unintentionally ) he does alot of podcasts with ricky gervais and stephen merchant which i highly recomend.

Favourite book has to be filth by irvine welsh actually laughed out loud readin parts of it. Bruce robertson the main character is probably the biggest dirtbag ive ever read about but a brilliant character. "Serious hooring is a solitary activity". To quote the man himself.

I like The Camel Club series of fictional novels by David Baldacci. There are 5 books in the series and each book is a development on the previous. I thoroughly enjoyed them. They are (in order of release) The Camel Club, The Collectors, Stone Cold, Divine Truth and Hells Corner

If I had to choose a favourite then I would probably pick the original The Camel Club

Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.

Salems Lot, one of Stephen Kings best books and one of the about vampires ever. I have read it many times and it manages to creep me out.

animal farm (not the one with the rude pictures!)

an oldy but a classic.

non fiction would be mankind by mick foley. even if you're not into wrestling, it's a terrific read about a very interesting and likable man.

RE: Whats Your Favourite Book
For me it's a dead heat between Bram Stoker's Dracula-(atmospheric & for a book over 100 years old equal to any modern day classic,no vampire film can match it) & Luke Rhinehart's The Dice Man-Funny & terrifying,a life changing read.
