How a mild-mannered but charismatic bloke rose through the ranks to become Field Marshal and Friend of Hitler, until he realised that the wrong things were hitting the fan, and he was obliged to bite the dust in July 1944. His son Manfred was one of the contributors to this 2021 profile, so it was ominous to read he'd died in 2013.

Mid-60s documentary fronted and narrated by John Huston, who directed her last film appearance. She had a sad life, really, and couldn't enjoy her later success because the emotional damage had already been done.
