It’s being reported that Ridley Scott may direct Disney’s Merlin Saga and DC films gets a new boss Walter Hamada who was a producer on The Conjuring.

DC / Warner Brothers badly need to rethink their approach to the DC comics films, but I fear whoever goes in with the hopes of being their Kevin Feige will just end up being hamstrung by seemingly urgent need to get the films out there and make as much money as possible.

^^Am sure they’ll sort it out.

they cant do any worse than the justice league film.

I saw the greatest showman last week and it was good.

Hostiles starring bale and pike in a western was fantastic, the character and relationship development over the film was good. the ending was very predictable but the story telling was good.

I agree. The studio also needs to hire better directors. I miss the days when we had Donner and Burton directing Batman and Superman movies, because even though there were cheesy moments and some flaws, their movies were still cinematic and powerful on screen.

Marvel isn't exactly making Oscar winning movies either, but at least they plan things out far in advance, so I admire them for that, despite their movies relying on so much green screen and bland cinematography at times.

Justice League looked like the biggest pile of shite to me, so I never watched the movie, only seven clips which were all bad. Overly color graded CGed cheesiness is not what I want to pay to see. Out of the entire Dawn Of Justice movie, the only aspect of it I liked was the bat cave and bat suit, out of a 2 1/2 hour movie.
