RE: Glastonbury, Music Festivals & Live Gigs
As many of you may know by now Beyonce will headline the sunday night at this year's glastonbury. Visually I can see her appeal, musically she does fuck all for me but at least if it's pissing down I'll be able to get out early.

Allegedly the saturday night is Coldplay.

Tonight BBC4 is showing two legendary glastonbury sets - Radiohead in the mud of 1997 and Pulp (an injury time substitution for the stone roses) in 1995. Do yourselves a favour bung a blank disc in the dvd recorder and enjoy.

Give me Primal Scream (who were on the Other stage that night) over U2 any day. I saw their warm-up in Cardiff last week and it fucking ruled. "Screamadelica" in front of that crowd can't miss. And Bobby Gillespie is a better frontman than Bono.

U2 seemed very tense without their claw and infront of a non-U2 crowd. I really like their current tour because they're using alot of visuals. Might explain why they didn't quite pull it off at Glasto. Still a great band though. But no band is great every time.
