hmm im still not convinced in the slightest on that one like, i know its not true in all cases but cousins tend to be from roughly the same area, not so much different countries!?!? me thinks its a marketing ploy from the clever peeps at Elite

I think its a marketing ploy - and a good one. They also do look similar enough to be cousins - facial expressions, certain facial features. I was brought up in the midlands and have cousins living on the south coast of England, in Ireland and the USA.
