Cock, muffin*, arse, pussy... they're all in the freeviews, loud and clear for all to hear. Okay, so 902 aren't a phone-in show, but they're still advertising an adult channel. What's the pissin' difference when all's said and done?

* I didn't say muffin! What I did say starts with a C, ends in T, and has U and N in between.

Do you want to know?
Really want to know?

It's an advert for porn channels, so swearing is justified by context.
But swearing on a babe channel is gratuitious, therefore a breech of the "rules".

another example last night. ashley emma said "everyone will be saying what the fuck" and had to apologise. its well after the watershed and the shows are rated 18 so no need to apologise

Well I'm confused as to why it's not allowed anyway, as there is one song that plays as part of the background music on Elite day and night, that has swearing all the way through. But the presenters can't say a damn thing. Surprised

All because music is exempt from classification, makes it OK, So if the presenters start to sing there introductions, does that make whatever they say exempt as well. Big Grin

I can't honestly understand it either, i mean these shows are classified as '18' they broadcast to us naked girls so why is a little swear word a problem? Take this Example (as Ofcom keeping going about underage people watching) Say a underage boy got caught watching the channels by his parents surely, the parents would be more concerned with the boy seeing a naked girl on the screen as opposed to hearing them swearing (if it was aloud).

This is not really related but im using this as a comparison, say you rented a movie which was an 18, you watch the movie to then discover that they have censored out the swearing but still show the sex or violence or whatever - which is far more of a 'bigger' thing then swearing.

I mean in my eyes the swearing should be the slightest concern, if you take into a account everything else that goes on these channels. Swearing should be allowed, after all these channels are sex talk lines - swear words are always associated in the conversation everytime they take a call. I know there allowed to say whatever they want on the phone, but this is a adult channel broadcasting to adults, they should be allowed to say whatever they want on the mic. It would add alot more realism to the channels if they could swear, because i hope im not the only one when i say this but.... i hate when the babes say 'im feeling really dirty now' or 'im feeling cheeky now' it would be so much more realistic if they said how they really feel as they do so freely on the phones, like Tiffany did in that video where she swears on the mic, that was hilarous! Another example of how inane this is,is the fact i can watch Live at the Apollo on terrestial TV and hear every swear word going including c**t,i watched a rerun of Ricky Gervais the other night,he never stopped swearing,im assuming they are governed by the same rules as the BabechannelsHuh

The reason is that the Babe shows are classified as advertising/teleshopping shows and come under different rules than the normal shows.
Silly, but thats the way it is.

Hazel was brilliant at going on the mic and swearing like mad. Babeworld used to have their girls talking filth on the mic too, I know I'll never forget Chelsea talking about licking guys sweaty ball bags. Big Laugh I do miss those days where the girls could go on the mic and talk like this, as it made for some classic moments. Smile

Umm, just a second ago on Elite, they bleeped out Mica and Caty saying the words cock, and something else. Cock was heard once, but then the rest of their words were blocked out. Ummm, OK.

So all of the sexual content is fine and dandy, but those WORDS have to be censored?

This is getting rediculous.
