If you really believe that you need to get a bet on as soon as possible. A repeat of last season's finalists may seem likely to you, but most bookmakers will give you 6-1 against that happening. Get a bet on now.

Gianluigi Buffon is also the last winner of the Lev Yashin award for the best goalkeeper at the World Cup Finals (2006).

Yep fair enough, I'd forgot about Buffon because I don't see enough of him.

Its hard to argue against those stats...... but I still will TongueBig Laugh

Well Inter 3-1 Chelsea agg.

Just got in from the pub...absolutely gutted

We had a fair few half-shouts for pennas throughout the match from rugby tackles, but i hope no one blames this one on the ref like last year v Barca

Inter deserved to go through over the two legs, Sneijder was amazing, we couldnt break them down (Malouda putting in the only decent performance from any of our players), Lucio and Samuel probably dealt with Drogba better than anyone ive seen in recent memory...

So ill hang my head and say well done Inter and well done Mourinho

To look on the brighter side though we can now fully focus on the league (and FA Cup) and it will give our ageing players a bit of a rest with no long distance travelling

I think Man U will win. If rooney keeps scoring as he is, they will win the premiership too

Well Chelsea just bottled it for me didn't show any inspiration or desire probably the special one got to them as i thought he would. Am just shocked at how good Sneijder opened the defence left right and centre Lol. The thing is Carlo come out and said this was the Cup they wanted and yet they played so rubbish played well in last 10 minutes of first half add that was it very poor

I think Inter deserved the victory, and were by far the better team over the two legs. They controlled tonight's game, and actually made Chelsea look ordinary. OK so Chelsea didn't play as well tonight as they can, but you have to give Inter a lot of credit for the way their players controlled the play, Sneijder, Samuel and Eto were all outstanding. Lampard strangely subdued, don't see that too often.

I thought it was always going to be tough after they lost the first leg.

I'm backing Mourinho to take his Inter side all the way. He craves the champions league trophy more than any other, and I really want to see Inter vs Arsenal in the final. Mourinho vs Wenger again! Smile

We were well beaten over the two games, so unlike last season's complete bullshit, strangely enough this one's a lot easier to take. Inter did their homework on us and with a lot of solid old pros in their team carried out Jose's instructions to the letter.

We didn't play well at all, but that's more to do with Inter not letting us.

Fair play to 'em.

(One bright spot, I was really concerned about Turnbull before the game but i needn't have worried, he was fine. After that performance he's got to move in front of Hilairious to be Cech's back-up.)
