R.I.P. Harry Carpenter

A sad day for British boxing fans, with the news that legendary commentator Harry Carpenter has passed away.

A wonderful broadcaster and deeply knowledgeable about the sport, his distinctive voice and unflustered commentary style will be missed greatly by fight fans across the country.

Rest in peace, 'Arry.

Indeed it is, an iconic figure who's service to the noble art should never be forgotten!

First Bill McLaren, now Harry, a generation of great sports broadcasters is beginning to disappear. I'd be worried if I was Murray Walker.
