UFC

It was almost cruel of Aldo not to finish Faber in the 4th round when Faber had nothing left. Nothing but heart anyway.
I felt that a new game plan is what's required agasnt Aldo, who was pure class after the fight, I'm a fan of both fighters now, not just Faber.

Shame I logged into this thread without thinking yesterday and saw the result of the main fight before I actually watched the event

I have yet to see the rest of the card aside from the fight with the Cowboy and I thought the UFC where wise to promote this show in the way that they did, I'm sure it's earned some new fans for WEC and they can count me among them.
IMO a cool thing to do would be to have a future series of TUF with some heavier weight guys for a UFC contract and some featherweight guys on the same show for a WEC contract. Imagine the exposure of having Aldo and Faber as coaches with two UFC couches for the heavier weights. (ok, maybe that wouldn't quite work)
It's that show that actually got me interested in the UFC from season 7.

Paul Daley, I saw his last fight, an awesome knockout and hope he's not just a one trick pony or Koshcheck may have him with his wrestling skills.
There are so many fighters to try and keep up with that I dunno all the fighter's backgrounds and so I'll have to Google Daley before they meet in the octagon and read up on him.

So great that the UK is producing such great talent now!
I had my first ever MMA lesson last week (though I am a pretty decent kickboxer already) and I do it more for personal fitness than trying for a career. I have zero ground game and I'm not ashamed to admit I was submitted by a gullotine choke at Tai Kwon Doe class the other on Friday in my first ever try at a pure submission match. But we live and learn eh?
(A friend of mine teaches Tae Kwon Doe so I went along to a couple of his classes in order to keep my fitness training interesting)
Anyone else do any MMA training or martial arts in general?

You just wait till The Phenom gets his rockets on Silva we`ll see how fast he runs away then, as far as the Brit clan go Semtex is gonna have his work cut out with Koscheck who`s improved big time over the past 2/3 years in all fairness he should have got his chance at GSP rather than Dan Hardy. I can see the same game plan being used by Koscheck on Daley, having said that i thought Daley would lose his last fight so you never know. Champion wise Ross Pearson looks a good bet to be the first Brit to get there especially now BJ has lost the Lightweight Division is wide open i can see Pearson getting one more win then a shot at Kenny Florian or BJ if he wins then it`s the big one.
Can`t wait for Rampage to come back and pitty the fool Rashad at UFC 114 Bisping that night as well he needs a win and a good one.

Any chance of seeing the Garcia v Jung fight anywere i`ve heard it compared to Griffin v Bonner TUF Final.

well TUF 11 just got interesting, already heard rumours tito ended up in hospital with a virus and had to deal with jenna having a miscarriage. the shits really hit the fan now, Tito got arrested on domestic violence charges but has since held a press conference and accused jenna of being addicted to oxycodin and that he never hurt her. Jenna has a history of drug addiction and although not the sharpest knife and acts like an ass to hype fights i think tito's generally a decent guy.
stolen a post off another forum to sum up what i think probably happened;

JJ is probably addicted to oxy's and told Tito she was going to stop.
She probably got caught sneaking oxy's and lied about it. Tito proved she was lying.
She attacked, Tito restrained her.
JJ was so pissed she called the cops.
In domestic cases, one person has to go to jail. its the law.
While Tito was restraining her he grabbed her arm thus leaving marks.
She had more marks, so Tito goes to jail.

Thanks for the info on Tito's departure, although I try not to read too much into it and see how it all plays out on the show first.
I don't wish any harm on Tito in his personal life as I only know what I see on screen. he's such an ass at times, but you see such a stark contrast in the way he deals with his TUF team that I often think we mainly see Tito the showman as apposed to Tito the real person.
He was such a cruel guy to give Coleman all that grief at the end of possibly his last ever fight for the UFC & I hope he has the decency to apologise top Mark at some point if he hasn't already.
Other than that, I don't mind the guy at all and have no problem with wether or not other people like him or hate him.

I love the TUF series, but won't get to see the shows until friday so I'll steer clear of this thread until the weekend so as to avoid any spoilers

The link didn`t work. I checked it out on some Korean site on google, quality fight although not sure about the result it should have been a draw that first round was 10/8 Jung then again draws don`t happen much... Fucking judges

Not sure if i`m getting the right end of the stick in what 199lives and Emmaspuppy are sayin, if you mean whats gone on with Tito this week will be on TUF on Saturday it won`t the show has already been filmed up to the semis, the 2 finalists will now be training for the live final in June/July or whenever its on.

Emmaspuppy you said you watch the show on Friday was this a miss print cause the shows on FIVEUSA on Saturday, if its repeated the following Friday what channel is it on cause i`m at work on Sat night and can`t find it repeated anywere.
