And what if you wanted to record another channel, such as Live960 or Paradiso?

What I'm taking rather a long time to say here is why can't they just leave the girls on the channels they start the night on?

Probably to encourage people to watch the show, rather than record - they've more chance of getting people to call in if they're watching.
