Hi Regenerated. Further to Shandyhands excellent post I now submit my own response to the issues you raised.
I have indeed said before BS and other channels need to improve their set range and quality.
Not only that but I have said it across various threads of Babestation, S66 as well as this very thread BEFORE the suggestions thread you mentioned and WITHOUT any assertion that the channels would not respond positively. I have done so numerous times for some years. The channels generally took insufficient notice on various occasions when there was no assertion they wouldn't do anything. They are taking insufficient notice upon such an assertion now being made.
The very fact I have raised set improvements as a priority is enough in itself to suggest it to the powers that be on BS and other channels. It is not unreasonable for me to claim I think them acting on that suggestion is unlikely bearing in mind the channel priority on making money through whatever means they deem appropriate. Equally imo it does not cancel out the effect of the suggestion just because I deem it unlikely to be acted on. Suggestion/request - call it what you like. It hardly matters.
The point is it was raised as an improvement technique.
I can't be held accountable for the decisions a channel makes. Any insinuation BS read my comment about being unlikely to change up the sets and decided not to do anything on that basis seems highly speculative.
There is a more fundamental point here as well.
I very much doubt channel bosses will take much if any notice of criticism on here regarding quality of visual television output on nightshows and level of perceived visual stimulus. Why? Money, thats why. Numerous complaints about pervcam have appeared in BS and S66 threads in terms of their impact on standard televisual and webstream output. With BS other gimmicks such as the 2 minute challenge have also received their fair share of criticism as has the airtime allocation policy.
But all these things persist. And why? Money. If any channel feels it will make more money by keeping such policies they will keep them irrespective of any perceived harm done to the standard output. The notion that channel bosses are going to go along with suggested improvements that involves time, money or effort being invested is my view a fanciful one. It is a hard nosed, uncompromising rip off at £2 per minute for standard calls and more still for Pervcam.
There is no time to consider equality of this or that or what casual viewers might want. The channels will deploy their biggest money makers with gimmicks a plenty to maximise revenue.

Regarding the contrast between BS and S66.
I take a rather different view regarding value for money. I long since stopped calling BS over a year ago now (3 or 4 calls to Jess West and Lori in the shower aside).
I got fed up with my conversations being terminated, seemingly due to a change in mode of calls i.e from standard calls to for example a 2 minute challenge or a listen in line.
Getting sent back to the menu for no good reason and then joining the queue to wait to be connected. I should never have been bloody disconnected in the first place. Scandalous and NOT value for money. On one occasion I called up on a 2 minute challenge and got cut off after exactly 2 minutes so seemingly determined BS were to ensure the caller didn't win.
I used to be a regular caller to all channels. Now I am an occasional caller to only 2.
BS is the odd one out because the gimmicks have gone too far and are disrupting the flow of stint after stint with babes blabbering on the mic and endless 2 minute countdowns to this or that.
Just think for a moment about those in the queue being further delayed by the excessive time babes spend on the said mic. Is not that a rip off as well? Tiresome in the extreme.
I don't get all that nonsense with S66 or Xpanded.
Yes there is too much DBS on both but the flow of a performance is less disrupted on the solo stints and the DBS ones. They are therefore more likely to sustain my interest for an extended period.
The set variety and quality is poor on all channels so there is no discernable difference there.
S66 however seem to care more about parties and their blessed magazine than they do visual output.

To address the point concerning camerawork.......
Roaming cam and POV on BS is fine in itself when the camera operator does the job properly which has not always happened imo.
But those sections are not plentiful enough, not long enough, not consistently done well and not enough by themselves to stimulate my sustained interest.
Imagination is about a lot more than just POV or roaming cam.
The whole feeling and intensity of a stint comes through expression in the face and body language and movement. If the intensity in these regards is lacking it makes no difference to me how good the camerawork is. If I just don't feel it I just don't feel it and switch channels. A number of things need to come together to hold my attention.
It is a personal thing for all of us as to what appeals and why as I am sure you can appreciate Regen.
The camerawork may be slightly better at BS than S66 and Xpanded but the intensity, eroticism and ability to hold my attention for long periods through body language is better on S66 and Xpanded imo particularly from the likes of Clare Richards, Lola Knight, Mikaela Witt (tease hours), Sophia Lares, Faye Rampton, Tori Lee, Michelle Moist, Kimberley Jones, Amanda Rendall amongst a few others.
But does that necessarily mean S66 or Xpanded are all that good?
No. The sets are tired just like BS, the production is poor just like BS, the DBS mode is too prevalent as it is on BS and the camerawork isn't up to much either. S66 as a channel don't do enough to give a stint character and nor do the other two channels especially in the set and props department.

I'm sure you would expect me to defend Ashley Emma and so I will.
Just because she hasn't done roaming cam, POV or a shower stint she has suddenly lost drive. Really? She has done front facing standing nude on numerous occasions btw.
She never had drive in the first place...... Really? That is quite an assertion to make.
How exactly did she achieve such popularity and praise as she has obtained in the last couple of years in particular then?
To the point of being voted Queen of Babestation on this very forum by a seemingly big margin. Imo she did so through improvement in the quality of her shows.
The sort of shows she does now are significantly bolder and more expressive imo than when she first joined Babestation. That improvement takes willingness to change and therefore drive imo.
The standing nudity she does now would have been unthinkable to me a few years ago. The oiled up nudity the same. The body language and expression is also significantly better imo. To my mind her shows have improved.
Irrespective of the level of performance base different people may feel she has improved from and also irrespective of her supposed determination to abide by the rules and not show full on pussy I would like to think her improvement is undeniable.
That does not happen out of thin air. It happens because the on screen babe makes it happen. That takes will and therefore drive imo.
Ashley is far from being a faultless performer.
She has areas for improvement like everyone else.
I would never deny that.

In conclusion there is nobody on BS or S66 nightshows imo who has had an 'exceptional year as far as the surroundings will allow' as you put it. The outfit choices could have been better and more varied, the body language and movement could have been better and yes the babes on both channels have been hindered by those aforementioned deficiencies.
The closest I think anyone has got to an exceptional year so far is Michelle Moist on Xpanded for a whole raft of reasons that I shan't bore you all with as this post is far too long already.

^^^Thanks for that Regen. This is just the sort of considered and reasonable response that can make this forum so good at times. 

It was not the intention of my post to come across as nihilistic. There are still some genuine little nuggets of gold in sessions within the shows I agree. I just feel that at BS recently these have been confined almost entirely to the handheld camera segments (particularly while the shower was out of bounds). Why are the efforts these bits represent becoming so marginalised there? Where is the intent to build a charged atmosphere across a session, to hook the viewer and press his interaction? (Maybe the babes you list simply don't hold the appeal for me, in the same way your meagre list of 66 babes that you like, as per a recent post, seemed to miss a couple of my favs there.)

So while the POV examples you give do allow the retention of a little hope for the future (I missed Nicole in the shower, so thanks for the reminder to seek it out. ) I can't agree they form a wide vein of promise.

Neither did I intend to begin any tiresome argument of 'this channel is better than that channel'. All operators have their issues; some common problems exist, some are unique to the individual provider. I focused on BS because they were at the centre of your previous comments. I'd say 66 have only been on a poor par with BS of late. My personal preference for their style of presentation doesn't give me rose tinted glasses believe me. Regular DBS syndrome is something I'd hate for BS to catch from 66. I agree they are a worse offender there so far.

(This discussion is not aided by the time of year. The summer holiday time has long been a poor period for the shows in general I feel. This year the problems are accentuating that. The shows are in a rut. They will recover some as ever.)

More longterm (and giving them some grace) the shows, babes and BS in particular could be said to be going through a transitional period in regards to how the format is presented and revenued. The main downside of this is that atm they are woefully inconsistent in generating any eroticism and fall back time and again on 'trusted' positions and routines.

To address your more specific points, I don't think posters should concern themselves with whether the industry is reading their thoughts, frankly. How can any opinions on here be honest and true if that becomes too much of a consideration? If a BS boss cancels plans for new sets (or anything comparable) on the strength of comments on here then the guy is a thin-skinned idiot. No one runs a business on such an emotional level and survives. I think you are giving BS no credit at all on that one actually. They are quite obviously a lot better than that.

Taking your argument to its naural conclusion, I think you are also walking a fine line in suggesting that this forum could become responsible in any way for any of a operator's bad performance. I can't believe you really wanted to go there.

Finally, you really think that the babes you mention have more space to do their thing while plugging BS's endless gimmicks...? And haven't we moved way beyond the regulations excuse by now? That was 5-7 years ago; it hasn't been like that for at least 3. The reg changes were a catalyst but they didn't force us to where the channels are today.

I used the house of cards analogy because the current format seems to me such a fine balance between keeping guys just about sweet enough to keep tuning in while giving them absolutely nothing to chew on unless they pay. Worse, we are now seeing callers regulated to second class servicing, with the channels looking at how little they can get away with providing them in terms of visuals for just the price of their call. This is such a very fine line to attempt to tow to me. Remove a guys desire to interact by lowering his VFM too much and ... Do that to too many guys...?

But I agree all these things are subjective perceptions. Mine may be more warped than yours. YMMV.
