Fair point, babes do get a following on the shows. But they can now make more money from sites like onlyfans, manyvids & other sites like myfreecams so still think the shows will either finish or go online. They have carried on longer than I’ve expected

Very much this new girls need the channels to build there fan base but even then very few ever get the level of fans today's retirees have,
You will just find that the most popular girls don't end up doing 10+ years on the shows anymore as there will be able to make a good living them selfs after 5-6 years,
Also worth remembering that girls have to be very hard working to make only fans really work and not every girl is some will always prefer the channels where everything is done for them,

And we have to ask if the girls aren't on a show will there be a fall off of Onlyfans subscriptions after a few months.

agree,also to keep them in the limelight ,and to get new members which is where a few will fade without a trace,the channels offer a perfect free advertising base for them to work with,new additions to the channels may well cause some die hard fans start to spend their money elsewhere instead of being so loyal to those who choose to leave and solely rely on babe fans or similar ,they may well find it difficult to return to the channels with the competition for slots so hard ,but im sure they have thought of this

Unless a babe leaves EVERYTHING behind in this industry to really move on with their lives, as some have done, I expect any 'retirement' to be temporary.

I definitely agree that the FTA aspect that the channels provide give their presenters the chance to start, maintain and increase an OF fanbase.

Not sure if this the right place but here goes. What is this new mishegas(yiddish term for craziness or insanity) of putting up credits(on cams) by the girls needed for things? And not just a few credits oh no, they are asking for 100's of them for anything from shoes to various sexual acts. You've just used your credits to get to see the girl so why woudl you want to spend even more. Anyway, what you're talking about sounds like tip goals/countdowns or tip menus. All the girls on sites like chaturbate or mfc do stuff like that. Difference is, those girls are free to view and they usually put on an actual show. The tip goals are meant to enhance the show that you can already view and tip menus are there for guys that want something specific. I was thinking recently if they could actually implement tip goals into the regular night shows. Well I don't frequent those websites so I thought it was a little odd seeing that on various cams shown by Babestation and even Hot and Wet are doing it for some of their models.
