Say goodbye to wobbly cardboard sets, Disney are giving the bbc a buttload of cash

just think its a distribution deal for the rest of the world for the content

^^ Article mentioned Hollywood budgets for each episode, so i recon it will be similar to the Marvel show budgets.

Disney chucking in some money should mean improvements, but they have been continually making mediocre episodes for years, so...

If they go too big (in Who terms), they risk ruining what Dr Who is, low budget has its charm. Interesting stuff though.

The Whoverse is technically a part of the Marvel Multiverse (Earth-5556), so in theory a version of The Doctor could team up with The New Avengers in crossover films, such as the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars (2026) movie, that would be cool
