I think now the only way Joshua will fight for a world title will be if either Fury or Usyk are stripped of a title and it becomes vacant. Joshua is still ranked no.3 for the Ring title, ranked fourth by the WBA, and 5th by WBC, IBF and WBO. Fury - Joshua probably will only happen as non - title fight, I doubt Fury would even put the title on the line for Joshua. What is clear though the rest of the Heavyweight divsion used to be running scared of Joshua, not any more.

Joe Joyce suffered a damaging defeat in his heavyweight WBO interim title defence to Zhilei Zhang of China.
The fight was stopped after 6 rounds via Technical knock out.

Daniel Dubois will take on Oleksandr Usyk on Aug 26 & AJ takes on Dilian Whyte at the 02 on Aug 12. I think that AJ knows he can't afford to lose to Whyte, but it's a career defining fight for both.

I would like to think Dubios will beat Usyk but feel Usyk may have too much for him.

Dubios may get to land a KO but will lose if it goes to points,

Joyce rematch with Zhang - credit to both for doing what none of the other heavyweight are doing! fighting regularly

AJ KO's Robert Helenius in rd 7 Credit for Helenius taking fight on week's notice, but did sound like he ran out of gas after round 4 then AJ dumps him on canvas in seventh. Was AJ too cautious? First KO win since Pulev

Reckon Joshua needs another fight before wilder and please not bloody chisora or someone who Joshua has had before didn't sound like the best performance by him who knows if he was holding anything back after the last minute change

Not sure that Aj's latest victory will push him any closer to Fury or Usyk! He is still a 'bit' player in the game now!

On the other hand, and I came a week late to this fight (managed somehow to avoid the result in the meantime - unheard of) Terence Crawford put on a masterclass in dismantling Errol Spence in the years true superfight! After being watchful and patient in the first two/three rounds, he went straight up surgery mode in picking apart Spence - precision range finding! for me, as much as we talk of Canelo being the best pound - for - pound on the planet, Crawford is simply untouchable in this form!

A shame we will never see a super middle?? between these two (paper thin difference in weights though) superstars, as it would break all records I think (audience and financial)
