The Times has apologised - after protests by its own sports desk - and changed its front page on Tuesday night.

The Hillsborough verdict was not on the front page of the first edition, but a picture of a man shovelling snow.

"We made a mistake with the front page of our first edition, and we fixed it for the second edition" said the statement from the editor.

I have to say was an emotional vigil that was held in Liverpool yesterday. Maybe now the government will see sense and try to help get closure far quicker for those who died and for those who grieving.

I see Klopp wants 'throw the kitchen sink' at Villareal next week - does this mean then everyone should think about bringing their kitchen sinks to Anfield? But I'll say this for Klopp he is an honest manager and Liverpool should appreciate him

An incredible effort from the team this evening, villareal just couldnt compete in the anfield atmosphere and looked flustered from the get go, can was immense considering he has just returned from injury he really set the tone in the midfield, two finals in klopps first half season he really has met peoples expectations in terms of making an impact, hopeful the guys can just go one further now and lift the trophy.

A difficult result tonight given the road and performances the team put in to get this far in the tournament but on the night they simply havent stepped up the game that mattered most which is disappointing, barring the sturridge goal (which was a sublime finish) no chances were really created, once sevilla caught upto speed in the game they exploited our defense which again was left unconvincing moreno in particular (not the first game) they and began to loose shape, as klopp mentioned they can only grow stronger from the experience I believe he really can make something special at this club given the time given what has done with this squad of players when he took over which were underwhelming and playing far below standards to take to 2 finals is a step in the right direction, congrats to sevilla and a third europa League title fully deserved.
