Damon Lindelof had this to say about the new Watchmen series

“We have no desire to ‘adapt’ the twelve issues [Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons] created thirty years ago. Those issues are sacred ground and they will not be retread nor recreated nor reproduced nor rebooted.

They will, however, be remixed. Because the bass lines in those familiar tracks are just too good and we’d be fools not to sample them. Those original twelve issues are our Old Testament. When the New Testament came along, it did not erase what came before it. Creation. The Garden of Eden. Abraham and Isaac. The Flood. It all happened. And so it will be with Watchmen. ABC has cancelled Roseanne after she went on a Racist Twitter storm

They shouldn't have brought it back imo, plus some of the in show choices they were making were questionable.
It is a shame for the other cast and crew, as one stupid racist has cost them their jobs, but, having the star and name of the show generating that kind of negativity is toxic for the brand and not worth the hassle it brings, especially given the fact we're in a time where that kind of comment helps normalise racism, which is unacceptable. Some comments in reply to it have already proved that it was the right choice. It's not about being PC, it's about a racist devaluing herself and her product to the point that it's not worth being involved with.

The premise of bringing it back was good the conflict in familys between trumpers and non trumpers. can you imagine a version of till death do us part with alf as a brexiter and the rest of the family as remoaners

The amount of people that have been defending Roseanne Barr is fucking shocking she has a history of saying nasty things and even people using the excuse of American amendment as a excuse of her right to say all those vile things.
