US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations)

Entourage, Sons Of Anarchy, Rescue Me and The Walking Dead all start again soon (although 2 of them will be the final seasons)

Then just got to wait for Game Of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire to return (hoping 2012 for them).

Anyone else been liking The Chicago Code on Sky1? Pity that got canceled, bah!

I have all of the walking dead...is it worth the watch?

I tried very hard to like Boardwalk Empire, I was looking forward to it so much, but I just couldn't get into it!

What they should do is make a Sopranos movie!

Walking Dead is VERY good, you don't need to be a zombie fan to enjoy but you'd get a bigger kick out of it if you were

Boardwalk Empire was craaaaazy slow, I only just managed to see it out but I'm glad I did. When it was slow, it was fucking dead, when it was good, I thought it was awesome.

I'm a massive Soprano's fan (dunno what gives it away, lol) but I was one of the few people who didn't/doesn't want a movie. Yeah it would be good to see the gang again but I also like it how it ended, each fan can draw their own conclusions and have their own ending. I feel a movie would just end up never being as good as everyone would want it to be

Cool, well I'll check out Walking Dead. Mate, when BE was slow, I was so bored and so I stopped watching, and apparently as soon as I did, all the action happened!

The thing about Sopranos was that there was no way to end it, you couldn't have him dead, or walk towards the sunset, it wasn't that kinda show! So I agree, the ending left it to your imagination, but I just wanna see them back again (though I agree, wouldn't be that great a film!)

Person of Interest, Awake (jason issacs), Ringer (sarah michelle gellar aka buffy), The Secret Circle. The most expensive tv series todate Terra Nova starts in sept 2011 (sky have the uk rights) $4m an episode

I'm really looking forward to Awake - the trailer is epic, and I rate Jason Isaacs a lot!

Gonna be checking out a lot of pilots, and seeing how they go, probably end up watching one a few for their entire run, but like to see a few:

awake, person of interest, how to be a gentleman, 2 broke girls, the river, missing, man up, last man standing, new girl, i hate my teenage daughter, allen gregory, alcatraz, little in common, family album,bent, best friends forever, whitney, up all night, ringer, hart of dixie

Terra Nova looks interesting from the trailer. Time travel and dinosaurs.

Just been checking out some trailers out and Terra Nova looks to be the most interesting out of the new batch, if a little cliched. Person Of Interest looks good too. Awake will be big but not sure if that's my kind of ting

alcatraz looks very interesting.

Hopefully it won't be another disappointment like Lost
