As it's pointed out to you the reason the babe channels get treated differently is because they have different lincenses to other channels and have to play by certain rules, which the channels know.

Yes children should be blocked/moderated to stop them viewing unsuitable images by their parents but they should always be a back up for lazy/stupid parents. are some of you that narrow mindeed/selfish that you would allow a child to view potentially damaging images etc just so you can see a bit of tit or pussy?

Yes they may be no scientific studies to say that nudity could harm children but they never will be because you just can't do that. To find something like that out you'd need to have a couple Of hundred children to experiment on on show them certain sexual images over a number of years and then montoter them for at least ten years just to see how it cOuld possible change them.

Yes most of us can agree that ofcoms rules are a bit extreme but I would never in a million years put my sexual needs in front of an innocent Childs right to develop at their own pace.

At the end of the day the rules are there and need to be followed.

At the end of the day it is night, and kids should be in bloody bed.
Bad parenting will always be around but why should all adults be treated as children by these morons `OFCOM`?

Well said. I'm sure that there is as much "bad parenting" over in mainland Europe as there is in the UK. Doesn't stop them from broadcasting hardcore under subscription.

Anyway, I can't believe that there is anyone on this site who doesn't believe that the "protection of children" argument puit forward by Ofcon as an excuse to censor the sex channels isn't total bollax.

If children need protecting from R18 imagery on television, then they need protecting from that imagery on the internet and mobile phones and in magazines too.
It just can't be harmful to children in only one format.

It is not, nor has it ever been, an argument over child protection. That is just a smokescreen used by Ofcon.

I do believe protection on children, as I have children and can see exactly why it is there and oh yes it is an arguement and it's one that would stand up a lot better if a channel ever broke the rules and did than 'we wanted to get guys hard'. on mobile phones, magazines and internet there is protection, on tv there isn't. For magazines they are ment to be put out of reach of children. Oh yes it can be harmful, there are casees of very young children who have watched porn who then go and try it with children.

hate to point out, the vast majority of adults should also be in bed as well. adults aren't treated like children, you will find a lot of adults don't actually want to watch porn on tv and don't agree with it, it is the protection of the majority. babe channels are the minority and always will be.

Yet another bullshit post by RCTV, I've lost count how many times she has spouted off her pro ofcom pish. Infact I would go as far to say that's she's probably never worked in the Adult Industry like she has claimed to have done, anybody who had clearly wouldn't have such a
stance and total agreement on the current censorship Issues. Also she claims that the Adult Channels are in the minority well got some news for you so are the religious channels, should we also censor them too then RCTV and furthermore there are other channels on TV besides the Adult Ones you can watch so there you go. RCTV you come on this form only to wind the rest of us up so do us all a favour and crawl back into that little hole you came out of.

The truth is RCTV,you are a bloody moron,I don`t know where you are coming from, but I do wish you would go back to the rock you crawled from under.
This is 2011 and we are no further toward watching real adult content on our tv sets than we were in 1970.
This is down to the fact that there are and always will be a few, godfearing, all against anything to do with sex, bombastic, self righteous, interfering, twats, who get listened to by these Hitler wannabe bastards that class themselves as the saviour of the human race.
These bible bashing puritans that have put themselves above any law passed by government.
These people that are unelected and faceless and who the GOVERNMENT seem to give free reign to.
I tell you now RCTV you can go and take a flying leap because you have realy pissed this person off. annoyed

yes, but many channels don't use them and no matter what anyone says they aren't clear in manuals.

'The Government"
Quote: A government the people happen to elect...

What makes you think that just because a party gets elected once every 5 years gives the people a say in running the country!?!

We elected them on the promise of a manifesto which they promptly break or turn around and say "Sorry not enougth time..." then push through a load of crap that at best just screws things up further.

The fact of the mater is the government don't run the country - the civil service does and they are unelected, and don't give a shit who is in 'power' as they may be gone in 5 years (10 at the most).

If dreams were real - I'd be knackered!!!
