Germany will beat Holland 2-1 in the final?? Jokey luv or what ever their manager is called has got his tactics spot on in the knock out stages & he should do the same to Spain goin on how they played tonight, they pass the ball well but sometimes don't move anywhere & would rather play short passes back to defence rather than play a through ball or cross this will suit the Germans as they are now a young side themselves & can counter attack with pace. It's the Germans people EFFICIENCY!!!

I've said Spain all the way, and although they're still there, Germany have proved they are not to be underestimated. They've consistently ripped teams apart, and now beat someone by 4 goals on three different occasions.

I honestly cannot decide between Spain and Germany but it will be an all european final with the opponents being Holland.

i only really watched the england games and from what i saw, this is my eleven

goal tender - howard
left back - that guy from slovenia
center back - that guy who plays for algeria and rangers
other centre back - erm..... bocanegra
right back - the other guy from slovenia
left wing - the little wippet from algeria and pompey (the ugly one)
center mid - TBC
other center mid - also TBC
right wing - donovan
goal attack - altidore
shooter - dempsey

Cause Spain won, none of them were that good...

Right Back: Philipp Lahm
He's the best right back in the world, NOT RAMOS, NOT MAICON!

Centre Back: Carles Puyol
A rock.

Centre Back: Arne Friedrich
Another rock, confounded expectations that Germany's defense were 'weak' (what tools!)

Left Back: Giovanni Van Bronckhorst
The veteran led his team to the final, and scored a sooopuuurb goal, all in his last 7 games in professional football.

Centre Midfield: Bastian Schweinsteiger
Was the midfield powerhouse Germany needed after Ballack's injury.

Centre Midfield: Andres Iniesta
Superb in every game, especially the final where he scored the WINNING GOAL!

Right Wing: Thomas Muller
This is where it starts getting tough to decide, cause all of da best playas was in dese positions - he won the golden boot, simples.

Attacking Centre Midfield: Wesley Sneijder
He carried his team through to the final with his performances and goals.

Left Wing: David Villa
He wasn't really a winger per se but he played his best football when coming in from the left, as Torres was always in the middle getting nowhere...

Striker: Diego Forlan
We saw what this incredible player can do without masses of support from other players, scoring 5 goals (three from outside the box) and generally replicating what we saw in the Europa League this year and what we didn't see at Man Utd. Shouldn't have been Player of the Tournament, though...

Soooo many players who could have been in there - Asamoah Gyan, Mesut Ozil, Wayne Roo... I mean, Xavi (among others). Bloody difficult.

Good choices Tombarlow. Your eleven was very close to my original one anyway. Theres so many that could have been included, but I just don't have the desire to do one now because that nonsense post before your choice poured cold water over the whole thing.
