The BBC have announced that the new presenters of Top Gear will be Paddy McGuinness and Feddy Flintoff.

I think its great to be honest i see Middle class twitter already spitting out there Earl Grey 2 Working Class northern lads getting top gig over posh oxbridgers

What exactly is their link to cars? Using a pedalo hardly counts McGuinness and Flintoff are well known here but will they have European and international appeal ? As you said babelover, thank god it's not Robbie Savage!

Does it really matter any more if they're only making half a dozen episodes per year.

Well they have no connection with cars but they are ACTUALLY FUNNY!!!! So there's a base to start with.

Thats why i will watch 2 middle aged Lancashire men ( paddy for greater manchester but i still class that as lancs bloody goverment ) dicking around in cars Chris harris is also staying make a good trio

Its like that Fishing show with Bob mortimer and Paul whitehouse christ if you said to me would enjoy fishing be mad but was a very good series
