Not sure he was having a go at the scum by taking the piss out of the munich disaster. I read it as pointing out that the air crash helped make united.
If you have never made a comment at Anfield about the crash then you are not in a huge majority. I know of loads of Liverpool reds who sing Munich songs and have heard them often enough in the past.
