Kingsman: The Golden Circle - 7.5/10 Kingsman is one of my favourite films of recent times and i was really looking forward to this sequel. While not quite as good as its predecessor its still very entertaining, bigger, louder and certainly more expensive with an all star cast, there are some great action set pieces and its very funny in parts.

Good Kill(2014) Ethan Hawke stars as a drone pilot dropping bombs principally over Pakistan and Afghanistan. Hawke puts in a convincing performance as he struggles with the ethics of the job, the fact he'd rather be in a real plane and his troubled marriage. Bruce Greenwood is also very good as his commander getting the rare humorous lines in a fine script, a script that is used by them and the supporting cast ( Zoe Kravitz,Jake Abel,Dylan Kenin,) to show some arguments for and against drone war and modern war, generally. A fine, mostly indie rock soundtrack features. Also starring January Jones and the voice of Peter Coyote, 7/10

Red Heat (1988)

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger & James Belushi

A Russian police captain teams up with a Chicago cop to catch the drug dealer who killed their respective police partners.
This is just a great 80's action film.

Cowboys And Aliens.

Most ridiculous idea for an action film ever. Whoever thought up the idea should have been laughed out of the meeting.

But, against the odds, it was rather good Surprised

Well worth a watch Cool 8/10

Khartoum(1966) The story of British General Gordon( played by Charlton Heston) and the siege of the Sudanese town of Khartoum in 1885 by The Madhi (played by Laurence Olivier). The script is pretty wordy but it strongly helps with the understanding of this piece of history. Heston is fairly convincing as Gordon, Olivier less so as the Sudanese ruler. There are a couple of effective battle scenes. Also starring Ralph Richardson(Prime Minister Gladstone), Michael Hordern,Peter Arne, Richard Johnson,Alexander Knox,Johnny Sekka,Nigel Green and Zia Mohyeddin. 7/10

Tanna

Love story set in a South Pacific island so as you can imagine, loads of birds going about in grass skirts with their knockers swinging about. Fucking fantastic.

Into the Forest (2015)

Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood are sisters trying to survive after the planet is hit by a power outage.

What I like best about the film is that they both get their tits out. Ellen's are just as pert, perky and perfect as you'd imagine.

Despicable Me 3

The mischievous Minions hope that Gru will return to a life of crime after the new boss of the Anti-Villain League fires him. Instead, Gru decides to remain retired and travel to Freedonia to meet his long-lost twin brother for the first time. The reunited siblings soon find themselves in an uneasy alliance to take down the elusive Balthazar Bratt, a former 1980s child star who seeks revenge against the world.

No complaints here...Gru's always good value....& 2 Gru's (His brother) = double the fun....

8/10
