Replicant

A pretty good Van Dämme film, he certainly seems to love playing double roles but this is more interesting roles.

7/10.

The Foreigner - 7/10 this had all the makings of a routine revenge thriller but it turned out to be so much better than i thought it would be.

East of Eden (1955)

Drama starring James Dean. A wilful young man contends against his brother for the attention of their father, while reconnecting to his estranged mother, who his brother thinks is dead.
Classic that builds the drama & emotion really well as the film progresses.

4.5/5

Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
Decent...can't believe I got a little chocked up on one mad scene....

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Matthew Broderick is perfect as the ultra popular, rebellious teenager who gets to have the perfect day off from school. Jeffrey Jones is equally good as the villainous principal trying to catch him out. A laugh-a-minute modern classic comedy that's always good for multiple viewings. There's a great 80s soundtrack too featuring bands that may not have been that well known, at least in the UK, but probably gained more popularity over here thanks to this hugely enjoyable movie. Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey, Edie McClurg and Charlie Sheen in a cameo also star. 4/5

Rebel Without A Cause (1955)

Classic drama starring James Dean & Natalie Wood.
Jim Stark is a troubled youth who constantly seems to get into trouble. He's new in town and immediately the police pick him up for being drunk on the street. At school he meets a group of young toughs who challenge him to a game of chicken. When that leads to an accident, some of the teenagers go after Jim thinking he might go to the police, tragedy ensues.

Dean's most famous film, and it's great stuff just like East of Eden & Giant. Brilliantly acted. Shame he didn't get to star in more films, as most of them would've been amazing.
