Great news: I've recently read that Sid Waddell will be returning to the commentary booth for the World Championships. It may only be a few matches here & there though, health permitting.

ted the county hanky has quit the bdc to join pdc after losing 5-4 in the semis at the bdc world champs after the dutchman kist. at one point hankey was winning 4-3 then he just lost it. bounce outs, lowing scoring, complaining about something. kist was rentless in his throwing, hitting the doubles when needed.

Judging by the final, Kist was a worthy winner. Hankey's hissy fit reminds me of Mervyn King's similar exit whenever that was.

Hankey will get smashed to bits in the PDC, he will be the new whipping boy if they put him in the prem league.

Well done to Kist, a great win, he had a great tournement, by far the best player of the week.

Agreed. The standard is so different to PDC. Hankey is well overated!

Happy that Ted's gone to the PDC, but can't see him breaking into the Top 16

As for the BDO, would've been nice to see O'Shea win it, but Lipstick (genius nickname btw ) Kist was a worthy winner, not just in the final but throughout the tournament

kist was just relentless, in the final he averaged 97 for the 1st 9 darts and 90 overall. he can take heavy hits and dish it. he will soon be the best dutch darts player.

the silverback did comeback but kist was just too good. lets hope kist stays with bdo because some recent exbdo who moved to pdc have found it difficult and have gone backwards.
