channels 912 and 959 are gone from sky

Looks like myself and the freeview clan have lost bang babes too tonight. Ah well, normality(fingers crossed) will be restored tommorow night.

Confirmed. So it can't be a purely Sky problem.

isn't 902 a playboy channel ? if thats right then its only the bang chanenls that have disappeared.

915 is back showing Earlybird this morning.

Yep - still nothing on Freeview.

its a bit sus if its just a technical problem ie picture then there would still be a blank screen and the channels would still be on EPG also the fact you can view them by inputting the frequencies means something fishy going on

This is just to let everyone know that Bang are in good communication with us regarding these problems and are being as informative as they can. The main information available at the moment has already been posted in this thread by semipro and hopefully a fix will soon be found to restore everything to normal. In the meantime thanks are due to mr williams for helpfully posting the explanation on how the missing channels can be restored on Sky through the Services menu. If any further information is received regarding a likely time for the return of normal service on Sky/Freeview/Webstream it will be posted here as soon as possible, but at the time of writing the currently available options are a broadcast on Sky channel 902 and another broadcast showing on TMTN1, TMTN2 and Sky channel 915, with both these broadcasts also being available to view on the web.

It's very suspicious that the neither Bangbabes or the Earlybird show was shown on freeview , Freeview shouldn't be affected by the Sky channels 959 and 912 being removed from the Sky EPG , also the Earlybird freeview show now transmits the same feed as Sky Ch 902 and not 912 like it used to , this channel is still being broadcast as normal on Sky , i remember Hotel Voyeur was also removed from the Sky EPG but you could manually tune their channels or channel back using the Sky services menu as well for a short time before they disappeared forever . It also seems strange that Sky Ch 902 is unaffected and a few days ago was displaying the Play boy UK test screen , so obviously at present Bangmedia are only transmitting on channels owned by other company's and Ch 902 as been regarded in the last few weeks by the girls as channel that is tamer , have OFCOM found a way of closing the 912 loophole by removing the EPG perhaps .
