im trying to download this video but i am having problems, i never worked out how to join vids togeather, when the file download box comes up should i be opening it or saving it

You must download/save all files to your pc!! Note.. You must have all of the files downloaded. When all have downloaded use hjslpit all you need do is just locate file 1 and hjsplit will automatically find the remaining files and extract and join it into a full video onto your pc.

Is anyone else having trouble with the files.

I've downloaded the first one but because it ends in .avi.001 Windows Media Player thinks .001 is the file format so won't play it and I can't convert the file as .001 obviously doesn't exist.

Advice please, can't wait to see the content.

You need to download all three files, then use an application such as HJSplit (PC users) or Split & Concat (Mac users) to join them to create a single file called SOTY_2010.avi

If you really only want to download part of the video, you can play the first file only by removing the .001 from the extension. However if you then decide you want to join it with the other two files, you'll need to re-add the .001 to the extension.

Thanks Skateguy for the quick reply, I will download the other two files and join them up although removing the .001 from the filename still won't work because when it's been downloaded WMP thinks the file format is .001 which of course doesn't exist. Therefore it won't play it.
