Here she is hanging around Soho in a mac.
The French Pussy Cat club is behind her.

I think we would all respect her more if she (and hubby) just came out and admitted that there are times when he wants to knock one off.

Here she is practicing for Saturday night

What a load of absolute tosh she is spouting.

"Smith in admission that her husband is a man and he admits that he likes to see women naked" shocker.

FFS.

i like the ending, the hubby is so definatly watching porn. her hubby did not like seeing naked women then he is gay. how about miss smith making a documentry about becoming one of the top pornstars in uk and world, lisa ann, shyla stylez, karina currie, cathy barry, sophie dee etc rather then the typical porn bashing (no pun intended)

another article about, i like the comment made by someone, "at least pornstars shag eachother, mps have shagged the taxpayer in fraudulent exspense claims" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/colum...inute.html

Thanks BigGuy, didnt realise she had sort of come to terms with the fact that hubby is normal and watches porn. Started to think heres a real admission when she said:
Quote:She has admitted that she was aware of Mr Timney’s porn habit before the expenses claim. “Let me just say, I knew he had used porn.

But my opinion of her dropped when I read on...

Quote: Did he use it very much? No. Having said that, there were two movies on the same week,” Miss Smith said.

Oh wow, 2 movies in the same week. That means hes, like, done it at least twice, as Rick from the Young Ones would say. Dont really understand male sexuality, do you luv?

Then she finished off (stop sniggering at the back) with
Quote:Asked if Mr Timney had watched porn since the scandal, she said: “No! Not surprisingly. He’s told me he hasn’t and he has no reason not to tell me the truth.”

So she thinks he had unmet sexual needs before, but by magic they have gone away? And no reason no to tell her? I bet a lot of men find that kind of conversation with their wives/girlfriends/sheep deeply humilating.

Elsewhere I read that she knew there was porn on the internet, but not how much, how easy it is to access, or how strong some of it is. Not sure whether the Home Secretary, in charge of domestic crime policy, should have a detailed knowledge of the content of foreign communication systems. No doubt ordinary phones can be used to telephone all sorts of unsavoury foreigners too.

The whole discussion of the innernet could sidetrack her show. Is she talking about porn in general - that would require an entire series - or UK TV channels, or pole dancing clubs or ...

Whats true for one will not be true for another, and finding out - shock horror - that there is unpleasant stuff on the internet is just not germane* to UK TV regulation, but I suspect that is far too subtle and sophisticated for the average Daily Mail reader.

The impression she gives is of a middle aged frumpy housewife who sort of accepts that hubby wants more sex that she can give, allows him to have a shuffle, but only on her terms and would prefer that he stared at the bathroom tiles. (Personally I worry about anyone who gets off to bathroom tiles.) This isnt far from setting a quota, or issuing a list of approved and banned channels/positions/categories.

In an ideal world she would discuss the strength of encrypted TV and how it compares to mags available in the local family newsagent, but Im not holding my breath.

* Germane. Really, I have been spending too much time with GPP in The Clarance and Lord Moon.

The Guardian had a Cif blog article on this which took a fairly 'arched eyebrow' line, wondering why Smith was so uptight about porn. Apparently she is surprised that the internet contains lots of it.

The internet has been around for years, yet crime rates have not rocketed.

These things are controversial - there are multiple causes and factors that can reduce crime, counting is not as simple as it should be and changing definitions do not help, but official Home Office figures show that total sexual offences fell by 8% between 2002 and 2010:
2002/3 .... 58,890
2003/4 .... 62,542
2004/5 .... 62,862
2005/6 .... 62,080
2006/7 .... 57,522
2007/8 .... 53,474
2008/9 .... 51,427
2009/10 .. 54,509
There are huge variations between categories, but noone can look at the figures and claim that behaviour has changed for the worse.
