Cheap satellite kit!
Just got my regular email from Screwfix and it contained this Free-to-Air Satellite Kit. http://www.screwfix.com/prods/80878&cm_m...source=aw#

Only £40 with all the bits. You can get all of the free 900 channels with it or point it at Hotbird 13 or Astra 19.2 and get some other goodies! Thought it might be a nice little project for anyone not wanting to pay for Sky Smile

Hotbird 13's free channels are pretty rubbish now.You used to get G/G porn on there all the time about 18 months ago but I think the Italian authorities stopped all that and now it's censored recordings where the screen is absolutely covered in phone numbers! Astra 19.2 is better,it has Eurotic TV on 24 hours a day, sometimes full nudity, but there are some well ugly girls on it and also lovely girl next door types that tease. It depends what shift you get! Rednight TV broadcasts for around 5 hours on Friday and Saturday from 11pm and they have some nice girls on there who usually go nude, depending on the model and Sexy Sat 1 is on there with most girls going nude and legs apart after 10pm,they control their own cameras with a remote so you get some nice close ups.German channels show a lot of soft stuff after midnight as well which makes a change from the Sky stuff but this set up would be best for those without Sky after all that buggering about with the dish you are going to get 20+ channels of babes! To be honest though,I have aligned lots of dishes and you can find Hotbird13 and Astra19.2 in a matter of seconds but Astra 28.2,the Sky one,is a pain in the ass and more fussy about elevation!

RE: Cheap satellite kit!
would you still be able to pick up english terrestrial with one of these, if it was pointed at another sattelite other than the sky one.
not being too clued on up sattelites, i'm not sure.

I'm moving place shortly, and one of these would be a royal result, as the sky equipment that i used currently is my flatmates, so cant take it with me.

No unfortunately you would need a motorised dish for that. The numbers after the satellite group name refer to where it is in the sky and they are thousands of miles apart above earth.Satellites that are 6 degrees apart can be accessed using one dish, usually 80 cm and above, and a monobloc LNB which has two LNBs, like Hotbird 13 and Astra 19.2 but Astra 28.2 the Sky one isn't near any other satellite except the Freesat one which is just satellite freeview and sucks!
