Stone Roses to reform ?

Strong rumours in the music industry indicate that The Stone Roses are to make an anouncement on Tuesday (October 18) that they are to reform and tour next year

Always on the cards on at some stage far too much money to pass up on for them. An absolute must see gig though

"In March 2009, Squire put an end to speculation surrounding the Stone Roses' reunion by defacing one of his artworks with the text "I have no desire whatsoever to desecrate the grave of seminal Manchester pop group The Stone Roses."Also on 19 March 2009, Squire appeared on the BBC's Newsnight, and when asked if a reunion would ever occur, he stated that it "absolutely most definitely not". He said he came on air to address the fans once and for all and also, "to stop the phones ringing." He also stated his belief that music is a young person's game"

If this reunion does happen,can we all assume its because of money and not for the love of performing? The Coachella festival is always throwing it's cash around to book reformed bands,so they could easily make a shed load of cash from this.

Whatever the reason,I much prefer to hear good news like this (real bands, real music) rather then hearing news of Steps returning to darken our airwaves again.........however, i feel these returning pop turds will crash and burn fairly quickly..that or the fat,blonde one will get the munchies on the tour bus and eat everyone else.

Er..the Steps reunion tour has proved such a success they have started adding extra dates. I will let you know what they are any good

You seem to have slipped an extra word in there. As for the Roses, I'll believe it when I see it. Brown and Squire will blow up at each other sooner or later, it's just a question of how much work they can do before the inevitable.
