I think the main problem this channel has is complete lack of competition. It only has eurotic tv and sexysat to compete with and that's it as far as the babe channels are concerned in the rest of Europe.

I agree with you the current output at BS24 has been extremely poor with the UK version putting it firmly to the sword which is ironic seeing as we have ofcom to worry about and they don't

BS24's had other boring spells in the last few years, it's not like it's only turned shite this month and never before. And just absurd to mention "ofcom rules" or "no nude".

But UK Babestation certainly has more reasons to watch just now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK it can go a bit further than its UK competition because of its Dutch licence for the main channel – and I presume BabestationX wouldn't exist or be allowed on TV without that licence? I'm not trying to make any particular point; German licences allow for creativity too, but BS24 isn't pushing at the limits often enough.

I'm not totally convinced about the lack of competition – definitely, from day to day, it gives BS24 an advantage. Viewers can't switch to a similar TV channel, and are maybe likelier to stick with a boring show. And no chance of model-poaching.

But more broadly, there's a ton of competition to turn to if BS24 stinks – porn, webcams, everything else on the internet. I really don't think the models ever think "well, I don't have to try today". I doubt the producers do either. Just, maybe they need some new ideas.

Well I caught a little of BS24 last night - it also transmits on that R......t site now and there was some per-se nudity (hand over etc.)

But if this really has been toned down it may well be due to the German regulator. The channel need not have a German licence. As far as Germany is concerned that does not matter. The EU rules cover 'target audience' and the 'target' regulator can complain to the regulator of the licence grantor to restrict the content. That is what happened at ETV so it could well be happening here as well.

The one exception to this rule is the Dutch who will simply give the German authorities a two-finger sign since they are not afraid to offend them. For other German-speaking lands such as Austria, which is more economically dependent on Germany, they can not afford to do so.

In fact if Germany had their way they would close down every single Babe-channel that targets Germany.

Thanks for all the great posts and vids recently! New graphics this week, including the red-white logo they've been using... Uh, it's not too bad. Slightly bigger, and if they put extra words above the info bar (2 Girls 1 Phone/"call now") it might be annoying. But it does now list all the on- and off-screen babes for any given night.

Those profile pages are done in a very German way imo, all the facts one by one But it's good to have everything on the table, including sexuality and what they're into. And star sign lol. All the BS24 models are marked as bi or hetero, maybe some are exaggerating or being coy, but it's useful info that I haven't seen other channels try to give. In Estelle Deluxe's case, she says she's hetero but one of her turn-ons is "lesbian games" (e.g. all-female Cluedo), which surely would make Estelle bi, I'd've thought.

Probably being v dim here... Tried to get through on the phones, but the menu is all in German (guess understandably) - however, there's no English option so no idea what buttons to press. It's on R..TV so hoped I could get through. Can anyone enlighten me, other than starting German lessons...? Many thanks

I don't know, but I've asked the folks on Liveshow-TV dot com. Lots of German-speakers there, they should have an answer for us next few days. (I'll post it here.)

Hope it works! You may need to listen out for the numbers, 1=eins (pronounced like eye'nss) 2=zwei (tsv'eye) 3=drei (dry). They may even go up to 4=vier (fear).

I presume the girls themselves can speak at least some English. It's taught from quite a young age in Germany, and they seem like a smart bunch in any case.
