RE: Snooker
Not sorry to see Mark Williams and Mark Allen and especially Peter "Boredom Incarnate" Ebdon getting the elbow. Let's see some newer, or less familiar, faces having a pop.

Here's hoping Stephen Maguire joins the Misery Exit List today Smile

Yay! Naturally, he slagged off poor "Jack" afterwards, even compared him to Ebdon. But Ebdon doesn't look like Lee Evans, so maybe that's why the crowd loved him Wink

Didn't do himself any favours either during or after the match

Well that was £20 well spent Sad Guess that c*nt Murphy will win now.

Got my money on two, stuart bingham and barry hawkins, both long odds i know but bingham's improved alot over the last few years and with alot of big names falling early might have a shout, hawkins has a tough match against selby but if he could get past that one also might have a good run

I see the Poomjaeng Adventure looks like coming to a halt (unless he steps it up this afternoon (or whenever)).

Glad Dott got back into it against Murphy this morning.

RE: Snooker
It has been a tournament where the seeds have been dropping like flies.
But for me this is the strength of the new snooker circuit.
The gap between the top 16 and the rest is narrowing because of the amount of tournaments that are played in a season. There is no practice like match practice.
Michael White has looked a fine player with maturity beyond his tender years.
At the other end of the scale its good that Mark Davis has had a good season after so many years on the circuit.
He is currently engaged in a battle with Stuart Bingham in round two where the score is 5-5.
Its been a fascinating championship so far Smile.
