Final Fantasy

IX was quality, how can people hate it? And if you look on gamerankings.com it is actually the highest rated Final Fantasy behind 6 (number 3 on the site because of the dumb numbering) but I dislike 6 because I have never liked the job system, one of the MANY reasons I hate XII too, everybody can be the same, it is just shit. Obviously I wouldn't put IX above VII in my favourites, but it is a toss up between IV, IX, and X for the number two spot and I can't call it. Always hated VIII though. And hazhazard play a Final Fantasy, fuck just play the beginning of FFVII and you will be hooked for life, I know that is what made me even start playing RPG's and now they are one of my favourite genres.

Isn't much difference but I am a sucker for limited edition consoles and a FFVII is begging to be bought, I just hope I don't buy it lol.

Oh yeah and Hazhard it isn't really recommended you watch Advent Children without playing and completing FFVII, it still has amazing action scenes in it but the story will confuzzle you a lot.

Its pretty damn confusing even after you've played the game! Don't watch it expecting a cracking story-line - just marvel at the art and cgi.

I never got massively into the FF games on PS1 (FFVII, VIII, and IX) although I played all of them, but I absolutely adored FFX (and still do)! The characters, story and gameplay are all just sublime.

Yeah I know about that PSP Skate, I have got it, it looks the absolute bollocks. Although I think that link that you gave for the bundle is the Japanese one or something because my box didn't look that classy and I didn't get the mobile phone strap. And it comes bundled with the standard game so I gave that to my little brother and then bought the limited edition one with the art book haha. It is like an illness with me when I buy games, I need the limited edition, which is why I am going to forgo getting Street Fighter 4 because I will have to get the £60 limited edition bundle and that is a hefty chunk of change for a game.

Has anyone played the older games that were released over here a few years ago (IV, V, VI)? I've seen them on PS1 for a couple of quid in bargain bins in a few different places, just wondering if they were worth the trouble?
