Great stuff though

An all time classic movie imo with a good soundtrack and this is the theme to the main credits and the infamous chase between The Warriors and The Baseball Furies - Walter Hill asked Barry de Vorzon to create a soundtrack that would help the movie along. Synthesisers were relatively new at the time but De Vorzon used them over a rock 'n' roll sound to create the iconic score for the movie - believed to be the first rock 'n' roll soundtrack with a synthesiser.

This one's good value - two tunes for the price of one; even if the opening part has been slightly spoiled by being oversampled (MC Tunes, the Only Rhyme That Bites amongst others; and probably the nadir , Atomic Kitten's I Want Your Love.)

There's probably an idea for a thread there somewhere "Terrible Songs that became hits by recycling much better and well known existing tracks"
