One excellent and top reason that if the 2022 WC is taken from Qatar it most definitely should not be given to the USA! No matter the amount of money to be made from corporate entities and wealthy kingdoms, the World Cup should only be given to nations who have a passion for the game.

it is 3pm on a wednesday afternoon in Miami, people do work there and go to school and college you know so I doubt they will take time off work for an england friendly game..

I doubt there is 60'000 odd there...

First Sony, and now Adidas are putting pressure on the authorities to do a proper investigation into the Qatar bid. Looks like companies are not wanting to be associated with it as it could damage their own name.

Why would people turn up to watch England play a friendly? I'd rather watch paint dry.

The 1994 World Cup was the best attended in history, with average attendance of nearly 69,000.

It's a big achievement to be ahead of hockey and basketball when the league is only 20 years old.

Those stats mean nothing on popularity, for a start ice NHL is played in indoor arenas and 17,000 is probably on avaerage a full capacity crowd, if the arenas were bigger they would fill out easily...

Same with the NBA crowds and attendances.....
