I agree about Rooney - I have heard constant musings (admittedly rumours) that he will not be there come next season. If Moyes is named new manager then I don't think he'll need to worry about controlling Rooney.

One Question What will happen to Wayne Rooney under moyes. Didnt Moyes Sue Rooney for Comments he made in his biography

An unconfirmed rumour but I heard that Rooney has told other United players he will be off to Bayern this summer. There again there are tons of rumours a day at the moment.

Rooney isn't good enough for Bayern, he's past it I think.

I don't think he is past it. Not sure he has ever had as much of it in the first place. Talent for sure but vastly overhyped in the media. Apparently he said to United he wanted to leave once again two weeks ago. He still has two years left on his contract but I'd sell him now and get a few quid for him. My guess is that United will refuse to let him go as they have plans in place for other purchases that do not include replacing him this season. Only time will tell if he stays or goes.

RE: Football Banter
Just let Rooney go, they tinkered with the team leaving him out a few times and they may have felt it worked for them, his like 26 or 27 and they can still get a good price for him with PSG the most likely club to come in.

Silly of man utd to come out and say his not for sale again, ain't like his the best player in the world, they should seriously consider selling him and consider the offers as this is the second time he asked for a transfer. More obvious is he has won everything that there is to win with them so it is right to seek a new challenge.

if rooney does go, man utd will be just fine. they've got 3 top strikers other than rooney. wellbeck, hernandez and of course van persie and will bring in a top striker if rooney goes. christiano Ronaldo has been rumoured to be coming back and lewandowski from Dortmund has long been rumoured joining man utd

RE: Football Banter
It's not a question of that. Plans are made during the season, identifying who they want and who is surplus. They do not just decide on a whim to sell someone just because he is no longer the main attraction. However, if they did agree to sell they could get a decent amount for him as he has two years left on his contract. Bayern and PSG have apparently made enquiries about him which is why he is reported to have asked to leave.
For all the stuff about Rooney being shite just remember he has scored 197 times in 402 games. Thats a ratio of a goal every other game. He has also played his part this season with 16 goals. Great stats that any top team would be happy with when you consider he has been on the bench at times this season.
My guess is they hadn't considered Rooney asking to leave this season but instead planned to sell Nani and Anderson to make way for Ronaldo and/or Lewandowski (or someone we are not aware of). It has also been suggested that Hernandez could go to Madrid as part of a deal to get Ronaldo (if he is coming back). RvP and Ronaldo/Lewandowski with Rooney or Kagawa in an AM role would be awesome. Young Zaha is also an exciting prospect and should do well come the new season. That set up plus a quality left back and we will be a top contender domestically and in Europe.

always said the best thing about rooney is work rate, sometimes hes at right back 1 min then up the pitch the next, amazing team player but do think he seems to hav lost his touch and hasn't been the same player pre 2010 world cup just my opinion. like I say great work rate and any1 know why david gill is in Madrid cos he is definitely there, surely its not for mourinho if this moyes deal is done and mourinho is going to Chelsea so maybe meeting ronaldos agent!

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.
